My entry for the contest; fashionably last-minute as usual! XD This was a fun challenge, and it gave me an excuse to use a character I've had on the backburner for quite a while. Kaitlyn Brigestone (pronounced Brigestun) I also enjoyed the challenge to my ability to create a good composition, keeping negative space in consideration.
Some of the ideas and symbolism in this work are, I should think, somewhat obvious. She is blind, akin to Justice, while his sight is artificially enhanced. She fights empty handed, he attacks with a weapon. Earth tones, tech tones. Hope you enjoy! Work and characters (C) 2009 Ionhelen |
